Working principle
The basic principle of the electroplating coating rectifier is to use the unidirectional conductivity of semiconductor devices (such as diodes, thyristors, etc.) to convert AC into DC. Common rectification methods include:
Silicon rectifier: After the voltage is reduced by a three-phase power frequency transformer, it is rectified by a silicon diode to output pulsating DC.
Silicon thyristor rectifier: The output voltage and current are adjusted by controlling the conduction angle of the thyristor.
High-frequency switching rectifier: Using high-frequency transformers and switching devices, the AC is rectified and filtered, and then isolated and reduced by a high-frequency transformer, and then rectified to output stable DC.
Main functions
Provide a stable DC power supply: ensure the stability of current and voltage during the electroplating process, thereby ensuring the uniformity and quality of the coating.
Adjust current and voltage: According to the requirements of the electroplating process, the rectifier can adjust the output current and voltage.
Multiple operation modes: Modern electroplating rectifiers have multiple modes such as constant current, constant voltage, and multi-stage operation, which can meet the needs of different electroplating processes.
Application fields
Electroplating coating rectifiers are widely used in the following fields:
Metal surface treatment: such as copper plating, nickel plating, chrome plating, gold plating, silver plating, etc.
Electronic industry: used for PCB electroplating and electronic component surface treatment.
Automobile manufacturing: used for surface electroplating of automotive parts.
Aerospace: used for surface treatment of high-precision parts.
Advantages
High efficiency: The conversion efficiency of high-frequency switching rectifiers can reach 75%~90%, which is more energy-saving than traditional rectifiers.
High stability: high output accuracy, small ripple factor, and can provide stable DC power.
Small size and light weight: The volume and weight of high-frequency switching rectifiers are only 1/5~1/10 of traditional thyristor rectifiers.
High degree of automation: It has automatic current stabilization and voltage stabilization functions, and can be connected to a computer to achieve automatic control.
Electroplating coating rectifiers play an important role in modern electroplating processes, and their performance directly affects electroplating quality and production efficiency.
